We are seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic Senior Systems Engineer to take the lead on a major project. In this senior role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a complex system that involves specialist sensors, electronics, and signal processing firmware/software.What You''ll Do:System Design, implementation, integration and acceptance for Defence Communications Projects.Technical leadership of multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure system designs achieve the operational performance requirementsLiaison and collaboration with MOD, industry and other stakeholders.Conducting engineering design reviews with project teams and customers.Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including test plans, specifications, and procedures.Support research activities including customer or PV funded studies and prototype development.Review and approve technical documents, participate in design reviews, and ensure customer acceptance.Support the development of system enhancements and roadmaps for future upgrades.Promoting continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies, techniques and processes.Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities and preparing technical proposals.Mentoring and developing junior staff where required.What You''ll Need:Proven track record in delivering complex system design, implementation, test, and integration in the defence (or highly regulated) domain.Experience across the full system life cycle, ..... full job details .....
