Private Client Lawyer - Birmingham

A well-established Birmingham law firm is seeking an experienced and personable Private Client Lawyer to join its respected team. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and client-focused environment.

The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of private client work, including wills and estate planning, probate and estate administration, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection matters. The role involves providing clear, tailored advice to a diverse client base and preparing high-quality legal documentation.
You will be expected to maintain strong client relationships, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to the firm''s business development initiatives. Depending on experience, there may also be opportunities to supervise junior team members.

About You
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with 10+ years'' experience in private client law
- Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, transfer of assets, and trusts
- Excellent communication skills and a sensitive, empathetic approach to client care
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and efficiently
- STEP qualification (or progression towards it) is desirable
- Proactive, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality legal services
