Junior Project Planner

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised individual to support our Project Planner in coordinating administrative and document control tasks across live project sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain valuable experience in project planning, document management, and site coordination, particularly within the aviation and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Documentation
- Assist in preparing and organising project documentation.
- Maintain project records and ensure all documents are correctly filed and archived.
- Help track deadlines for submissions, permits, and approvals.
Communication & Coordination
- Liaise with colleagues and clients to support document submission and follow-ups.
- Help coordinate project meeting actions and update trackers as required.
- Monitor incoming documentation and route for review or update.
System Use & Training
- Learn how to use client portals (e.g. Heathrow CMO) for uploading documentation.
- Assist with updating shared drives and folders used by the project team.
- Support the Project Planner with keeping data accurate and up to date.
Learning & Development
- Shadow the Project Planner and gain an understanding of planning processes.
- Build knowledge of documentation and client requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement ideas and team efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Some experience in either administration, project coordination, or document control (desirable).
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator and proactive team player.
- Familiar with MS Office 365 (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Keen to learn and develop in a project planning role.
- Previous exposure to construction or engineering projects is a plus but not essential.

The position offers 25 days holiday with a sliding scale rising to 30 days + bank holidays, company pension scheme and private healthcare scheme.
