A specialist SEN day and residential school in Lymington is seeking dedicated and resilient School Support Workers to join their outstanding provision. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with Autism and helping them develop independence, confidence, and meaningful life skills. The school supports children and young people with Autism who have EHCPs and require structured support with communication, social interaction, organisation, and problem-solving. Pupils may be working at or above age-related expectations, while others have moderate learning difficulties. The environment is nurturing, structured, and highly child-centred. As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping young people access education, build relationships, explore hobbies, and develop independence. Each pupil has a keyworker who acts as a trusted adult, liaising with families and supporting the young person both in school and in the residential setting.
