Located in either the London or Edinburgh office, the Payroll and Systems Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of payroll operations and ensure the smooth integration and functionality of the Zellis payroll system.Client DetailsA national public sector organisation with offices based in London and Edinburgh.DescriptionReporting to the Head of HR, the Payroll and Systems Manager will be responsible for:Producing and reviewing end-to-end payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.Research and verify data in respect of pension queries.Manage the administration of the benefits schemes currently in place, including cycle to work, discount vouchers, season ticket loans, etcLeading on the interface with pension and benefit providers.Supporting financial modelling, forecasting and preparation of the annual pay remit submission.Act as the subject matter expert in using reporting from the HR system in order to produce reports (e.g. headcount, holidays, absence, Gender Pay Gap, etc).Line management of 1 staff member (HR Officer) ProfileThe successful Payroll and Systems Manager will need substantial and proven end-to-end payroll experience with a full understanding of PAYE legislation.You will also need to be a confident user of payroll and HR systems.
