Nursery Practitioner - North Birmingham

Aspire People is currently working with a number of nursery schools across North Birmingham who are looking for passionate and dedicated Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their teams.

These opportunities are ideal for Early Years professionals looking for term-time-only work, with consistent school hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm.


The Role


As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children within a welcoming nursery school environment.

You will work alongside experienced Early Years staff to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating setting where children feel supported and encouraged to learn and develop.


Key Responsibilities


* Support children''s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
* Provide high-quality care and support for children aged 0-5.
* Assist with engaging and age-appropriate activities.
* Encourage children''s confidence, independence, communication, and social development.
* Support children''s individual needs, interests, and stages of development.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
* Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.
* Follow safeguarding and nursery school policies and procedures.

What We''re Looking For

* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification - essential.
* Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting.
* A good understanding of the EYFS framework.
* A genuine passion for working with young children.
* A caring, patient, and positive approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A reliable and professional approach to work.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and children''s wellbeing.
