I am looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy food manufacturing site in Wellingborough, where you''ll play a key role in keeping production running, reducing downtime and driving equipment reliability.

What You''ll Be Doing

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you''ll be responsible for keeping a range of manufacturing and packaging equipment running efficiently.

Your day-to-day will include:
* Carry out PPM and proactive maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and prevent breakdowns
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults across production and packaging machinery
* Respond efficiently to breakdowns, minimising downtime and disruption to production
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and improve overall equipment performance
* Conduct root cause analysis to identify recurring faults and implement lasting solutions
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and update the CMMS system accordingly
* Ensure all maintenance activities meet food safety, engineering, quality and H&S requirements
* Work collaboratively with Production, Quality and Operations to maintain a safe, efficient and reliable manufacturing environment

You''ll ideally be:

* Apprentice trained with an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent
* Experienced within a manufacturing environment
* Strong electrically and mechanically, with excellent fault-finding skills
