We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, the UK''s largest car and light commercial vehicle rental provider, for a Vehicle Technician to join their team in Avonmouth, Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding role within a reputable company.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Use of diagnostic equipment to identify faults in electrical and mechanical systems of cars and light commercial vehicles
• Conduct technical maintenance, repairs, and part replacements
• Perform preventative maintenance and MOT preparation
• Record and report work carried out, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards
• Work collaboratively with a team of Vehicle Technicians under the supervision of the Workshop Manager
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and maintain a high standard of workmanship in a busy workshop environment

Requirements:

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Several years of practical experience in vehicle servicing and repair preferred
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Avonmouth
• Strong team player with excellent organisational skills
• Methodical approach to workload, maintaining high-quality standards
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced workshop environment
