Field Service Engineer

Location: Home-based covering Wiltshire/Somerset region

Salary: Up to -45k DOE + Company Performance Bonus + Company Vehicle + Expenses
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

Carbon60 are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join one of our exciting water treatment clients. This is a hands-on role involving the maintenance, servicing, and occasional commissioning of water treatment systems at client sites within assigned region with the opportunity for occasional international assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain systems such as Reverse Osmosis, Deionisers, Filters, Water Softeners, and Effluent Treatment Plants.
• Build and manage strong relationships with clients and site operatives.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues both on-site and remotely.
• Complete installation and commissioning tasks (depending on experience).
• Produce accurate service reports and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and company policies.

What We''re Looking For

• Experienced maintenance engineer with a multi-disciplinary background.
• Previous experience in field service or technical support roles.
• Knowledge of water treatment systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word).
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
