Sous Chef
to join and help lead the kitchen team. You will work closely with the Exec Chef to maintain our high culinary standards, develop seasonal menus, and ensure every dish reflects the quality and creativity our guests expect.Responsibilities:Support the Exec Chef in menu planning, preparation, and execution
Lead, motivate, and manage a small kitchen team of 5
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including stock, hygiene, and service standards
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, from fine dining dishes to special events
Assist in the training and development of junior chefs
Contribute creatively to seasonal menus that celebrate Yorkshire produce
Requirements:Proven experience in a fine dining or boutique hotel environment
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a small kitchen team
Passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
