Marc Daniels are working with a large, established organisation to recruit a Tax Manager into their growing finance team based in Manchester. This is a broad role covering tax compliance, reporting, governance and advisory, offering exposure to a wide range of stakeholders across the business. The role would suit a qualified tax professional looking for a hands-on position with responsibility across UK tax matters and the opportunity to contribute to process improvement and wider finance initiatives Key Responsibilities:Delivery of UK corporate tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax computations and returnsSupport of the tax provisioning process and year-end close in conjunction with Group FinanceMaintenance of appropriate tax controls and governance frameworksIdentification and management of tax risks across the businessProvision of practical tax advice to Finance, Legal and commercial teamsSupport for business projects, contracts, financing and structural changesInvolvement in wider tax areas including employment tax, VAT and international matters where requiredContribution to improvements in tax processes, reporting and efficiencyWhat we are looking for:Strong knowledge of UK corporate taxBroader exposure to other tax areas such as VAT and employment taxExperience in a similar roleComfortable working in a hands-on role with delivery responsibilityAbility to work to deadlines and manage competing prioritiesCTA qualified, or ACA/ACCA with a tax focusClear ..... full job details .....
