Regulatory and Professional Discipline SolicitorAnnual Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE)Location: GuildfordJob Type: Full-time / HybridWe are seeking a Regulatory and Professional Discipline Solicitor with 1 - 3 years'' PQE to join our highly regarded Healthcare Regulatory and Professional Discipline Team. This role is based in our Guildford office, where you will be part of a team that represents medical defence organisations and private clients across the country in regulatory, disciplinary, coronial, and criminal matters.Day-to-day of the role:Advise lay and institutional clients on GMC/GDC investigations, Inquests, police investigations, prosecutions, and Health Board/Trust disciplinary matters.Manage your own caseload with supervision, ensuring case management records are maintained.Assist other lawyers in the team with their work, including supporting senior fee earners.Be flexible to assist with cases and instructions outside of normal working hours when required.Meet chargeable hours targets.Assist with the training and development of junior members of the team and training sessions provided to our institutional clients.Required Skills and Qualifications:Qualified solicitor with 1 - 3 years'' PQE (relevant additional experience will also be considered).Experience in some or all of the specified areas of professional regulation.Knowledge of healthcare regulation processes (ideally GMC and GDC proceedings).Advocacy experience in matters such as Pre Inquest Hearings, ..... full job details .....
