September* Cosy Lounge and Bar area* Beautiful gardens ideal for corporate away days and weddingsWhat are we looking for?As a Wedding and Events Manager, to successfully fill this role you must possess the attitudes, behaviours, skills and values that include:Have ideally worked in a similar role within a wedding led hotel environment.Have strong communication, reporting and admin and relationship building skillsBe able to negotiate - you convince with competence and charm and find solutions with which all parties are satisfiedBe commercially minded with high-level attention to detailGood communicator - you are an eloquent and pleasant conversation partnerStrong IT literacy.Help the team and manage them to drive new business from different market sectors.Strong organisational skills and a sense of responsibility - you enjoy contributing to the teamBe self-disciplined and energetic;A high standard of personal presentation with confident, professional and welcoming personality.What will I be doing?As a Wedding and Events Manager, we are looking for a positive can do attitude to drive exceptional standards and guest experience, have a strong background in wedding sales and ideally led a team.Your duties will involve but will not be limited to:Lead and work with the Sales team to ensure all potential sales opportunities are identified and followed upMaintaining existing customer relationships and driving new businessIdentify client needs and providing proactive solutionsKeep all databases accurate and relevant to extract reports for measurement of opportunities and progressDelivering best-practice in terms of customer service to ensure a seamless guest experienceRespond to enquiries within specified deadlinesEnsure customer satisfaction by ensuring details of all meetings and events are deliveredGuide the team to organise, plan and sell with an eye for detail by creating function sheets
