Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Tetra Tech has an opportunity for a Graduate to join the Cost Consultancy team to assist in all cost and procurement management processes, with a view to successfully completing the Tetra Tech''s internal APC preparation programme; and self-development training in readiness for attaining Chartered status with The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
Responsibilities
Cost planning and initial estimating
Preparing tender and contract documents
Fund monitoring and due diligence
Assisting in the management and delivery of construction projects
Contract Administration as Employer''s Agent
Working closely with Clients, Architects, Structural Engineers and Project Managers
Assisting with a range of pre and post contract surveying duties
We deliver projects effectively for clients, often requiring colleagues to be together in offices or on site; when possible, we advocate flexibility around how, when, and where you work.
There is no ''one approach fits all'' - each team manages their own way of working, we trust our employees and focus on outputs not inputs. Meeting up with colleagues and clients face to face in office environments or on site is important for collaboration, face-to-face meetings, appraisals and development.
Qualifications
Minimum 2.1 degree in Quantity Surveying, BSc or BEng
MS Office skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-Motivated
Full, clean UK driving license and ideally access to a vehicle
Suitability for Security Clearance
