Supply Chain Coordinator
Our established client is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator Supply Chain Import / Export. Location: Near Gillingham, Kent no remote working available Salary: Negotiable depending on relevant supply chain experience Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday, 9am to 3pm on Friday Benefits: 25 days annual leave + BH, non-contractual biannual bonus and more The Customer Service Coordinator will ideally have the following skills/experience: Customer Service Coordinator Skills This role requires a high degree of accuracy of data input and the ability to maintain composure under pressure, while managing multiple, competing priorities. Responsibilities Be responsible for planning, coordination and control of the production process for specified customers, escalating any concerns to the Operations Manager Support import export documentation, logistics coordination, and communication with freight forwarders (if experienced) Support Amazon related tasks such as order management, shipment creation, and resolving Amazon platform issues Ensure that UK production (packing) is cost effective and identify savings where possible. Chase UK and FE suppliers for delivery dates, negotiating on improved dates where necessary. Manage stock control using current IT packages, including annual stock take Liaise with customers regarding availability, managing customer expectations and providing the best possible customer service.
