Now Education are currently recruiting for a compassionate and experienced Thrive Practitioner to work within a supportive PRU/SEND school in Runcorn. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people who require additional emotional and behavioural support. This role will initially be offered on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to become permanent after 12 weeks for the right candidate. The Role You will work closely with pupils who may present with: Social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs Autism and additional SEND Challenging behaviour Trauma-related barriers to learning Using the Thrive Approach, you will support pupils in developing emotional resilience, improving engagement, and building positive relationships within school. Responsibilities Deliver targeted Thrive interventions and emotional support Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils Support behaviour regulation strategies Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams and external agencies Monitor progress and contribute to pupil support plans Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment The Ideal Candidate Holds a recognised Thrive Practitioner qualification Has experience working within PRU, SEND or SEMH settings Is calm, resilient and empathetic Has strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills Is passionate about supporting vulnerable young people Team Teach training is desirable but not ..... full job details .....
