Workshop / Vehicle Development Technicians - Basildon, EssexWe are currently recruiting experienced Workshop / Vehicle Development Technicians to support tractor development and testing for a leading agricultural vehicle manufacturer based in Basildon.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, modify and maintain development tractorsRemove, install and modify driveline and powertrain componentsSupport vehicle testing and engineering activitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical faultsComplete technical reports and document test resultsWork closely with test engineers while following health and safety proceduresRequirements:Strong mechanical fitting or vehicle technician experienceExperience with driveline, transmission or powertrain systemsGood fault-finding and diagnostic skillsAbility to read technical documentation and complete reportsFull UK driving licenceRight to work in the UKGood level of spoken and written EnglishDesirable:Agricultural, commercial vehicle, HGV, construction equipment or off-highway machinery experiencePrototype/development workshop experienceCANalyzer/CANcase or vehicle instrumentation experienceHours:Monday-Thursday: 07:00-16:00Friday: 07:00-12:00Overtime and Saturday work available depending on workload.To apply, please send your CV to (url removed). ..... full job details .....
