We are a children s residential care provider supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and complex behaviours. We are recruiting an experienced Deputy Manager to join a well-established residential children s home. This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager looking for clear progression to Registered Manager within 6 months, with structured support, training and development. Key Responsibilities Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of a children s residential home Ensure compliance with Ofsted Quality Standards and Children s Homes Regulations Lead shifts and manage daily operations of the staff team Supervise, mentor and develop Residential Childcare Workers and Team Leaders Support children and young people with EBD, SEMH and complex needs Maintain accurate care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding records Promote positive behaviour support and trauma-informed practice Deputise for the Registered Manager and participate in the on-call rota Attend multi-agency meetings, reviews and audits Promote safeguarding, equality and inclusion at all times Essential Requirements Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Experience working in a children s ..... full job details .....
