Quality Control Laboratory Analyst Location: Petersfield (Manufacturing Environment) Salary: C 16.00 an hour Contract basis About the Role Our client, a well-established organisation within the manufacturing and consumer goods sector, is seeking a QC Laboratory Analyst to join their Quality team. This role is responsible for ensuring that raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products meet strict quality standards prior to release. Key Responsibilities Laboratory Testing and Analysis: - Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, bulk product, and finished goods - Prepare samples, conduct analysis, and record and report results - Monitor and verify laboratory equipment and environmental conditions - Carry out environmental monitoring and validation - Maintain accurate documentation Data Review and Product Release: - Review laboratory data and documentation - Enter and manage results within systems (e.g., LIMS/SAP) - Support release of materials and products Investigations and Problem Solving: - Identify quality issues and suggest improvements - Support OOS investigations - Assist with complaint and quality evaluations Documentation and Training: - Develop and update SOPs - Provide training where required Requirements - Degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience - Experience in a QC or laboratory environment - Knowledge of GMP, GDP, GLP - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Good communication skills Desirable Skills - ..... full job details .....
