Let''s push the boundaries of what''s possible together.As a Sr Director of Software Engineering - Transformation Lead at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology, CDAO Data Platforms Engineering, you will be responsible for guiding the transformation roadmap and shaping the delivery and operating model structure across the organization. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and customers, working closely with Engineering, Product, and Program Management teams to address risks, issues, and dependencies. Utilizing your technical expertise, you will manage resources, budgets, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that support the firm''s strategic goals. Your exceptional communication and influencing skills will be crucial in building productive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective risk management..Job responsibilitiesManage the transformation roadmap across the organization, ensuring alignment with our strategic prioritiesResponsible for the structure of roadmap delivery and operating model across the organizationOversee engineering risks, issues, dependencies across the full book of workEngage with senior stakeholders across the whole organization including customers within the lines of businessesGuide the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, platforms and software tools leveraging advanced technical fluencyChampion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologiesPartner with the product organization to drive business outcomes, ensuring that technical programs are aligned with strategic business goalsPrepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to senior leadership, including the Operating Committee, to communicate program status, risks, and achievementsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and expert applied experience. In addition, expert experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertiseSenior director level experience, leading enterprise-wide transformationExperience working at code level and understanding architecture and infrastructureAbility to manage multiple portfolios and competing prioritiesDemonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutionsAdvanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectivesProven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environmentsAdvanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectivesExperience shaping strategic business transformation and delivering integrated plansAbout UsJ.P.
