To support our exciting adventure and growth plans for 2025 and beyond we are on the hunt for our future Pub General Managers across the Northern Home Counties.You must be fully mobile and be flexible to travel within the region for training and 1st appointment!Position

Your role as General Manager Designate:Shadowing senior managers at our flagship sites to learn about Wells, our values and our offer to our guestsManagement of the pub, maintaining front and back of house standards to drive excellence in food and drink deliveryEnsuring guests are cared for to the highest standards and expectations exceededDelivering against key measures of sales, profit, and team retention whilst having fun along the way!Conduct regular stock control and compare to usage reports including waste records to identify opportunities for tighter controlCreate and maintain a motivated team with excellent standards identifying talent and ensuring successionRegular employee appraisals and implementation of performance managementRequirements

Energetic and vibrant, as our next General Manager in the making, you will be the face of our businesses and have a natural flair for hospitality and the ability to motivate and lead a team through your passion, standards and commitment.Previous Pub Management experience, ideally gained in a high volume siteExcellent operational skills as well as a solid base of back office managementFull financial understanding, and be able to react to the ever-changing needs of the businessThe ability to lead from the front and develop and train the team where requiredA result driven and ambitious individual excited at the opportunity to grow your businessA passion for the industry and the challenges that come with itEnergy and motivation to successfully lead and inspire your teamOther Information
