Role: Infrastructure EngineerSalary: £65k to £75k per annumClearance: MOD DVLocation: North West LondonOur client is looking for specialists at SFIA Level 4 or 5 to join their design and integration teams across two distinct technical pathways:Pathway 1: Windows andamp; On-Premise SpecialistFocusing on the design, build, and migration of secure Windows environments.Core Tech: Windows Server andamp; Desktop builds using MDT and SCCM.Directory Services: Advanced Active Directory version uplifts, migrations, and Group Policy troubleshooting.Virtualisation: Full-life cycle VMware deployment and management.Infrastructure: SAN storage implementation, configuration, and technical refreshes.Design: Production of High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.Pathway 2: Linux andamp; Applications SpecialistFocusing on secure OS capabilities and integrated monitoring solutions.Core Tech: Advanced Linux (Red Hat preferred) provisioning and version upgrades.Security andamp; Hardening: Hardening to CIS/NIST standards and threat remediation.Modern Delivery: Implementation of containerised applications and patch deployment via Satellite Server.Monitoring andamp; Networks: Deployment of management tools using SNMP, Syslog, and IP Networking.Integration: Tight integration of monitoring tools with Active Directory and Backup solutions.If you hold the required MOD DV Clearance and have the technical pedigree to execute against a complex project roadmap, we want to hear from ..... full job details .....
