This includes assessment, consultation, intervention, and professional development for school staff, often in collaboration with other agencies like the Virtual School and Mental Health Support Teams.Assessment and Diagnosis:Conducting psychological assessments to understand a child''s strengths and needs, and may recommend further assessments, like for ADHD, with other professionals. Consultation and Advice:Providing guidance to schools and other settings on supporting children''s learning, behavior, and social-emotional development. Intervention and Support:Implementing strategies to address learning difficulties, behavior problems, and emotional needs, including therapeutic support. Professional Development:Training school staff on topics like emotional literacy, literacy for all, and supporting children with emotionally based school avoidance.
