Job Title: Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2)Contract: TemporaryHours: Full-time 39 hours per weekAbout the RoleA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to join a busy facilities environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard by completing a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across plumbing, heating, and mechanical systems.This role involves fault finding, repairs, inspections, and maintaining accurate records, as well as ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and health and safety procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out installations, servicing, testing, and commissioning of plumbing and mechanical systems in line with regulations and best practice.Complete planned preventative maintenance, small repairs, and respond to service requests.Prioritise workload effectively and escalate issues where needed.Conduct maintenance tasks, surveys, and quality control inspections, including work in confined spaces and at height.Monitor stock levels, request materials, and ensure all used materials are logged.Assist and supervise external contractors when required.Maintain clear and regular communication via site communication systems.Support safe systems of work and undertake competent person responsibilities where appointed.Participate in emergency and urgent maintenance tasks when needed.Skills and ExperienceDesirable:Experience within building services, ..... full job details .....
