Teacher of Religious Education (RE)

Location: Hillingdon, West London
Contract: Permanent, starting September 2026
Salary: Main Scale / Upper Scale (Outer London)

Our client, a well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in Hillingdon, is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Religious Education from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive Humanities faculty committed to delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage students to explore beliefs, values, and perspectives.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching RE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Have experience teaching Key Stage 5 (desirable, but not essential)
• Be passionate about their subject and committed to high-quality teaching
• Be able to inspire students and promote critical thinking
• Be a collaborative team player with strong communication skills
• Be reflective and committed to ongoing professional development
