Legal AssistantLocation: LondonSalary: £55,000-£65,000 DOEWorking Pattern: Office-based We have partnered with a growing organisation to recruit a Legal Assistant to support its Chief Legal Officer and wider business. This is a broad in-house role covering legal administration, contract coordination, corporate governance and wider corporate services. It would suit someone with experience supporting a legal function who is comfortable taking ownership of legal records, governance processes and day-to-day coordination across multiple areas of the business. Responsibilities: Maintain legal matter trackers, document registers and central filing systems. Draft, format, proofread and amend contracts, board papers, resolutions, minutes and legal correspondence. Coordinate contract review, approval, execution and e-signature processes. Maintain contract registers and track key dates including renewals, termination rights and commercial milestones. Ensure executed agreements, legal records and supporting documentation are accurately stored and easily accessible. Support board, committee and shareholder meeting administration, including agendas, board packs, minutes and resolutions. Maintain corporate registers, governance calendars and supporting company secretarial documentation. Assist with routine corporate filings and coordinate with external company secretarial providers and legal advisers.
