Achieving for Children (AfC) - Team Manager - SHiFT / Adolescent Team - 45.20 p/h Umbrella Eeden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to lead the SHiFT / Adolescent Team within Achieving for Children. This specialist service delivers intensive, relationship-focused work with vulnerable adolescents at risk of exploitation, offending, going missing, or family breakdown. Duties and Responsibilities: Leading and managing a team of Social Workers and Practitioners within the SHiFT / Adolescent service. Providing reflective supervision, practice oversight, and professional guidance to ensure consistent high-quality intervention. Overseeing complex adolescent safeguarding cases, ensuring robust assessment, planning, and risk management. Embedding trauma-informed, relationship-based practice across the team. Monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, safeguarding procedures, and AfC policies. Supporting innovative practice where support is shaped around the young person rather than traditional service structures. Working collaboratively with partner agencies including police, YOT, education, health, and voluntary sector services. Contributing to service development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across adolescent services.
