HR Manager - solicitors firm

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join a well-established and leading law firm in Central London (Monument). This role will be 35hr week with 5 days a week in the office and pays £75,000. Going through continued growth and expansion, my client is a leading UK solicitors firm with circa 50 offices across the UK. To be considered for this position you will be CIPD Level 5 qualified and ideally have previous professional services experience. Managing a team of 2 HR Generalists, an LandD Coordinator, and a back-office HR team in India, you will be responsible for the oversight and support of all aspects of the HR function supporting circa 500 staff. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for: Providing HR reports and updates to Senior Management Implementation of HR strategy and development of HR IT systems and processes Managing and overseeing payroll Overseeing and managing learning and development, including overseeing training activities and training requests Managing the recruitment process and developing candidate pools for all positions, including succession planning Overseeing the on-boarding, probation and appraisals process, and staff attendance and absence monitoring Managing employment relations issues such as grievances and disciplinaries.
