Our client, a leading fleet workshop in Reading, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy service team.

This is an excellent-Vehicle Technician opportunity for skilled automotive professionals to work within a reputable, national fleet environment and further develop their technical expertise while enjoying competitive pay and benefits.

• Up to -38,760 basic salary with an OTE of approximately -44,760 through bonus schemes
• 42.5-hour working week with shifts from Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings on a rota basis, with overtime paid at 1.5x
• Working within a professional, national fleet workshop environment

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Performing vehicle servicing and routine checks
• Diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs to manufacturer standards
• Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
• Conducting vehicle road tests post-repair or servicing work
• Supporting team members with technical advice and assistance to ensure high-quality service delivery

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Light Vehicle Technician with a Level 3 qualification; Vehicle Technicians with a Level 2 qualification and extensive industry experience will also be considered
• Confident in carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a range of vehicle makes and models
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Full UK Driving Licence
