Projects will involve the application of practical engineering skills associated with the built environment and other related industries. Responsibilities: Produce Electrical building services engineering designs from concept design through to construction issue, in line with our ethos and undertake site supervision of design projects. Prepare feasibility studies. Supervise work and design quality of more junior members of the team. Execute projects within defined design, programme and cost parameters. Carry out designs on a variety of buildings within different sectors i.e., schools, offices, leisure facilities, Public Authorities, Government buildings, industrial, etc. Prepare technical specifications, reports, and drawings. Represent company at meetings with clients and contractors. Conduct site surveys, inspections, and condition surveys where appropriate. Promote and incorporate sustainable design wherever possible. Participate in design quality reviews/audits as required. Maintain records and archives to company standards. Manage own workload and that of junior staff.
