Training can take upwards of 2 years to learn one production line so candidates must be willing to work for our client on a long-term basis - it can take 10 years to learn a variety of lines. Production Operative Main Duties and Responsibilities: To manufacture weather seals in a safe manner. (Extrusions Department)Fully embrace our Core Values.To work in the section in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Targets (OEE, Scrap, OTIF ,Quality Standards , Throughput and Productivity).Work as part of the team on agreed objectives with Section Leader and Production Manager.Actively promote ''Best and safe Practice'' in all areas.Actively promote the Quanex ''CREED''Support Section Leader in achieving through objectives.Ensure informative handover is effectively communicated to succeeding operator, any points of note written, signed and dated; in handover book.Any other duties deemed necessary by Section Leader.
