We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join one of our agile squads, helping to design, build, and deliver high-quality features across the PCI Pal product suite. You’ll play a key role in writing clean, efficient, and testable code, while contributing to team discussions, sprint planning, and technical decisions. This role is ideal for someone with a solid grounding in software engineering principles who’s eager to take ownership of their work, contribute to improving existing systems, and grow through mentorship and hands-on experience. You’ll work closely with testers, team leads, and product owners in a fast-paced environment where continuous learning and high standards are part of the culture.The successful candidate must be within commuting distance to both London and Ipswich. This is a hybrid role with expectation that when required, the successful candidate can travel to one of our offices at least once per week.Job requirements

Strong experience in in modern C#, TypeScript, HTML and CSSStrong cloud platform experience, ideally AWSStrong CI/CD experienceStrong experience of using infrastructure as code (e.g. CDK, Terraform)Experience developing serverless applications (e.g. Lambda)A strong focus on architecture and code qualityExperience of modern UI frameworks such as Vue or ReactAbility to create great user experiencesHave a good understanding of SOLID principles and how to use design patterns to create robust, maintainable and testable codeStrong understanding of object-oriented programming and Dependency InjectionStrong experience of integrating with third party services using APIsExperience of writing performance critical codeExperience of using Git or similar to track changesExperience of both the full .NET Framework and .NET CoreExperience of using observability systems such as Elastic APM or DataDog to track and diagnose issues in productionA solid understanding of security principles and secure coding including OWASP Top 10Nice to haves:o Experience in VOIP, (SIP and RTP advantageous)o Experience of TDD/BDD/DDDo Knowledge of PCI compliance and associated standards such as ISO 27001o Knowledge of accessibility standards and how to apply them (WCAG)o Experience with developing CRM pluginso Experience of Python and Data Analyticso Experience of developing AI applications
