Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for our client a housing association based in Nottingham.The successful post holder will provide an effective and responsive financial management service to Senior Management and budget-holders of the organisation and its associated entities.This role is a temporary contract initially for 3 months with the possibility to extend. This role is hybrid working with 2 days remote, 3 days in the office per week.Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:Assist in the preparation of statutory, statistical, and other financial returns, including revenue, fixed assets, development and balance sheet budgets, business plans, and forecasts.Ensure all statutory returns relating to members of the organisation and associated charities are submitted accurately and within required deadlines.Support budget holders and Senior Management with the effective management and monitoring of budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective action where required.Oversee the preparation of budgets for charities and services supported by the organisation''s finance function.Provide financial input into business cases, service developments, and continuous improvement initiatives.Assist in the preparation of Annual Accounts and financial statements for the organisation and associated entities.Draft annual accounts and taxation returns for subsidiary companies and charitable entities.Produce accurate financial reports for ..... full job details .....
