Be an integral part of an agile team that''s constantly pushing the envelope to enhance, build, and deliver top-notch technology products.As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Acquiring Platforms and Rails Tandem team, you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way on HPE NonStop. You will drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, applying deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle diverse challenges spanning multiple technologies and applications.Responsibilities:

Provide technical guidance and support to the business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.Develop secure, high-quality production code, review, and debug code written by others.Drive decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations.Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more focus areas.Contribute to the engineering community by advocating firmwide frameworks, tools, and SDLC practices.Influence peers and decision-makers to adopt leading-edge technologies.Promote a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.Qualifications:

Formal training or certification in TANDEM/NonStop Systems concepts and applicable experience.Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.Understanding of system architecture and design.Proficiency with developmental toolsets.Knowledge of industry technology trends and best practices.Ability to work collaboratively in large teams.Passionate about fostering an innovative culture.Experience in planning, architecture, analysis, and design of enterprise solutions for large systems.Hands-on development experience with TANDEM/NonStop Systems using tools like TAL, TACL, COBOL, C++, ENSCRIBE, ENFORM, etc.Good understanding of the payment processing industry, including ISO8583 message formats and industry specifications.Preferred Skills:

Experience with C++, Java, DevOps, Big Data, Kafka Stream, Control-M, Golden Gate, Agile development.J.P.
