Estimator
Our client is a growing construction and refurbishment contractor delivering projects across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and hospitality. They are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you''ll play a key role in securing new business and preparing competitive tenders on a variety of construction projects.
Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate tender estimates
• Reviewing drawings and specifications
• Producing take-offs and bills of quantities
• Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor quotations
• Preparing tender submissions
• Identifying value engineering opportunities
• Attending tender meetings
• Liaising with clients and consultants
• Managing multiple tenders simultaneously
• Supporting pre-construction activities
• Maintaining estimating databases
• Assisting with bid strategy

• Previous estimating experience within main contracting
• Experience pricing refurbishment and new build projects
• Strong numerical ability
• Good commercial awareness
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Full UK driving licence

• £60,000 - £80,000 basic salary
