HGV Technician - DAYS

Full Time/Permanent18.00 to 20.00 per hour dependent on experience.Hours 4 On 4 Off - 6am-6pm21 days holiday plus bank holidays.Plus MOT Bonus, IRTEC Accreditation, Accredited Tail Lift Courses, Support in achieving a Class 1 Driving Licence, Pension Scheme, Death in Service, and a generous 60% discount on Beta ToolResponsibilities of an HGV Technician:In the role of HGV Technician, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.Reporting to the Workshop ManagerServicingMaintaining and fixing various faults and mechanical issuesDealing with electrical faults in unitsMaintaining and fixing driving and parking sensorsRequired to work on HGV Units and TrailersComplete administrative tasks and reports as requestedFixing Suzie lines and connectionsDiagnostic workBrakes checks and changesSuspension workMOT Prep and Post MOT repairRequirements of HGV TechnicianHave a Level 2 or 3 qualification with Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and RepairFull UK driving licence

(HGV Licence beneficial but not essential)Experience in fault diagnostic equipment, e.g. Tech tool, STAR and JAL and including trailer systemsMust have your own hand tools to bring with you
