Role: Legal assistant - ConveyancingLocation: TrowbridgeHours: 9am - 5pmSalary: Dependant on experienceWe''re looking for a friendly, organised and proactive full time Secretary/Legal Assistant to join our Residential Conveyancing team in Trowbridge.What will you be doing?Assisting with the preparation of contracts, leases and other property related documentation using Case Management and a variety of digital systems and web based portals.Drafting routine correspondence, preparing standard legal documents and updating case files accurately and efficiently.Liaising with Accounts to arrange money transfers, preparing risk and compliance documentation and coordinating with colleagues to ensure all required checks and processes are completed.Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other Solicitors. Ensuring clear and timely communication at every stage of the conveyancing process.Making and receiving telephone calls, dealing with clients in person and on the phone, making appointments, assisting with queries.Accurate typing, preparing and amending draft documents, opening files, sending initial letters and providing clients with quotes.Experience/qualifications required:Presents written documents clearly and professionally.Professional approach to clients and colleagues.Good telephone manner.Organisational ability.Ability to communicate with all clients and staff.Able to work on your own and as part of a team.Attention to detail.BenefitsA family ..... full job details .....
