Financial AccountantLocation: Warwick + Hybrid WorkingSalary: £55,000-£60,000The OpportunityWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly successful organisation seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its finance team.This is a key position within the finance function, responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting statutory and group reporting requirements. The role offers excellent exposure across the business, working with both finance and operational stakeholders to ensure the integrity of financial information and drive continuous improvement.The successful candidate will combine strong technical accounting knowledge with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process enhancement.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review monthly financial accounts and supporting schedules.Maintain and strengthen balance sheet controls through robust reconciliation and review processes.Take ownership of key accounting areas including fixed assets, inventory and lease accounting.Ensure financial data is accurate, complete and compliant with relevant accounting standards.Support year-end statutory accounts preparation and external audit activities.Act as a key contact for auditors, coordinating requests and ensuring timely delivery of information.Assist with group reporting requirements and corporate reporting submissions.Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations prepared by junior team ..... full job details .....
