This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of supplier relationships, commercial negotiations, sourcing strategies and cost-saving initiatives, whilst supporting the delivery of key procurement objectives across the business.Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for developing category strategies, managing supplier performance, negotiating contracts and supporting operational purchasing requirements across multiple sites. This role offers significant scope to influence supplier partnerships and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of supplier and subcontractor spend and develop category strategies.Source new supply solutions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality, cost and delivery performance.Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, contracts and service agreements.Negotiate and maintain supplier and subcontractor agreements.Manage RFQ activities, supplier benchmarking and bid analysis.Conduct supplier audits and monitor supplier performance.Deliver year-on-year cost saving and cost avoidance initiatives.Support new product development projects and operational ..... full job details .....
