A small and rapidly growing Consultancy are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join their growing team - this is a hybrid role, requiring around 2-3 days per week either in the office or on client site, depending on requirements.Many of their clients are in the Public Sector, meaning you must be eligible for SC Clearance in order to apply for this role. In this role, you will lead on client projects and provide them with subject matter expertise - you''ll proactively identify opportunities for data science to be used to help solve their unique challenges, and will action this appropriately. .This will involve working with varied data sources, and designing and implementing various data science and machine learning techniques and algorithms, both on-premises and on the cloud, depending on the client''s environment.You''ll communicate your findings and insight to the client, getting involved in presentations to uncover the "story" the data is telling, and therefore what action can be taken.This role would be well-suited to someone who has experience (or is keen to get experience) in a client-facing environment, and who enjoys the challenge of working on technically demanding and diverse projects.Requirements Experience leading on data science projectsExperience working on cloud-based infrastructure e.g. Azure, AWS, GCPExtensive coding skills in languages such as Python and SQLExperience working with various forms of data (e.g. structured, unstructured; text, time-series and ..... full job details .....
