Technical Cyber Security Consultant £50,000 - £60,000 Fully Remote UK We''re working with a specialist cyber security consultancy that delivers technical security work across critical national infrastructure and other high-consequence environments. They''re looking for a Technical Cyber Security Consultant who combines broad security knowledge with genuine hands-on technical capability. This isn''t a purely advisory or assessment-focused position. You''ll identify security weaknesses, help clients understand the risk, and then get involved in implementing the solution. The role You''ll work across a varied range of client projects, including: Designing, deploying and configuring security controls including firewalls, EDR, SIEM, IAM and cloud security tooling Supporting penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and technical security reviews Turning assessment findings into practical remediation plans and helping clients implement them Hardening Windows, Linux, network and cloud environments Building scripts, automation and internal security tooling Working with standards and guidance such as CIS Benchmarks, NCSC and ISO 27001 Communicating technical risks and recommendations to both technical teams and senior stakeholders What we''re looking for You''ll ideally have: 2+ years'' experience within cyber security, security engineering, infrastructure or a similar technical environment Broad knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls and VPNs ..... full job details .....
