Mechanical Site Manager (Contract) - West Sussex / Up to £400 per day Our client, a top-tier MEP Contractor are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a large-scale industrial project in West Sussex. This is a 12-month contract offering a rate of up to £400 per day. You''ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth installation, commissioning, and maintenance of all mechanical building services on site. Main Duties: Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services. Ensure all necessary permits are in place and adhered to. Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues. Liaise effectively with main contractors and the client''s site team. Ensure on-site delivery and compliance with EHSQ (Environmental, Health, Safety, Quality) standards, RAMS (Risk Assessments Method Statements), and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) regulations. Coordinate on-site plant hire, tools, and labour. Oversee and manage both direct labour and subcontractors. Manage relevant external correspondence. Order all day-to-day site materials efficiently. Update and maintain progress reports accurately. Manage project-specific scheduling and communicate changes to the project team. Maintain comprehensive project quality reporting and monitoring.
