Business Development Manager

Overview
The business development manager will play a key role in driving business growth by winning new trade accounts and re-engaging with lapsed customers. This is a high-energy role focused on outbound telephone sales, relationship building, and account management, aimed at maximising sales revenue and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities
Achieve and exceed sales growth targets.Contact prospective trade clients (landscapers, artificial grass companies, and other potential customers who have not traded previously).Use social media and CRM tools to build and maintain a prospect list.Visit potential new clients that fit the target profile.Re-engage non-spending previous trade clients to reintroduce products and services.Conduct monthly outbound calls to existing accounts to maximise satisfaction and revenue.Manage pricing requests and sample requirements for clients.Log all client interactions, calls, and tasks on the company CRM.Experience Required
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an outbound telephone sales role.Proven track record of winning new business.Experience in high-volume outbound calling.Driving licence and access to transport to attend the office.Skills
Strong influencing and negotiation skills.Excellent telephone communication and customer service skills.Ability to quickly build rapport and manage conflict effectively.Commercially minded with energy, ambition, and a positive attitude.High level of emotional intelligence.IT literate.Location

Competitive salary: £32,000 basic with bonus/OTE (£40,000 Year 1 OTE, £55,000 Year 2 OTE).On-site car parking.Company mobile and laptop provided.
