Accounts Assistant Romford Up to £30,000 DOE Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm An established group of companies operating within the construction and building materials distribution sectors is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team in Romford. This is a varied, hands-on position supporting the day-to-day running of the office and business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, CIS and VAT administration, general office duties and providing administrative support across the business. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping using Sage CIS returns and administration VAT returns Managing incoming telephone calls Email management and correspondence General office administration Producing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and reports Supporting the business with day-to-day operational tasks Requirements Strong Sage experience Good knowledge of CIS and VAT processes Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Organised, reliable and self-motivated Confident telephone manner Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Construction or building materials industry experience would be advantageous Package Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience Company pension scheme 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Full-time, permanent position Office-based role in Romford If you are an experienced Accounts Assistant with strong bookkeeping skills and are looking for a varied role within a growing and established ..... full job details .....
