who will be responsible for the development, enhancement and support of the Hitachi Rail Business Information platform, with a particular focus on HRL’s bespoke Paymech BW reporting solution. This calculates the invoices to the customers, taking into account all charges and penalties.Critical to the

SAP Business Intelligence Senior Developer

will be a strong technical understanding of the SAP BW and BI toolset and enabling technologies (e.g. HANA), as well as the ability to engage in a consultative approach with business process owners. Strong ABAP skills are also essential to this role.Key responsibilities

Gather report requirements from the business for large projects and smaller requirementsAnalyse report requirements, including understanding the business processes and source data required for the reportsDevelopment of data sources and data flows into BW, including ABAP programmingDevelop frontend reports in various tools (Analysis for Excel, SAP Analytics Cloud)Testing and reconciliation of reportsDay to Day support of BI solutions as requiredEnd user trainingTo be aware of, actively promote, and implement Hitachi’s ethos, culture and valuesTo be involved in Hitachi Rail Limited’s staff development and training and participate in PDP proceduresTo adhere to the Hitachi Rail Limited’s Equal Opportunities PolicyTo comply with and implement Hitachi Rail Limited’s Health and Safety policyTo undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be requiredAbout you
