KS2 Class Teacher SEN School An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join a nurturing independent SEN school in Hackney. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). This is an ideal opportunity for a creative and compassionate teacher who is committed to inclusive education and making a meaningful difference to young people s lives. The Role The successful candidate will: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for KS2 pupils with SEND Create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral teams Develop personalised learning approaches to meet individual EHCP targets Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and external professionals Promote pupils confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing The Ideal Candidate Applicants should have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS Experience teaching within KS2 Experience working with pupils with SEND, particularly ASC and SEMH Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills A patient, flexible, and resilient approach A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs The School Offers Small class sizes and excellent staff-to-pupil ratios A supportive and ..... full job details .....
