We''re working with a growing specialist business looking for an experienced Commercial Finance and Project Coordinator to join them on a part-time basis. 20-24 hours per week Minimum 3 days per week Office based initially, with some flexibility potentially available longer term This isn''t a traditional Accounts Assistant position. There will certainly be hands-on finance administration - particularly around timesheets, project billing and invoicing - but they''re looking for someone capable of contributing much more than simply processing information. You''ll be encouraged to understand the projects behind the numbers, ask intelligent questions, spot opportunities and help the business operate more efficiently and profitably. The role Working closely with the finance team and several Project Managers, you''ll take responsibility for coordinating project information and supporting the invoicing process. This will include: Preparing client invoices, supported by consultant timesheets Reviewing timesheets and project information to ensure work is billed accurately and completely Liaising with Project Managers, adapting to different projects and ways of working Monitoring project costs, revenue and profitability Identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance and efficiencies Looking ahead at project workloads and supporting resource planning and ..... full job details .....
