Our client is a well-established and growing metal fabrication company delivering high-quality fabricated solutions to a diverse customer base. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Co-Ordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy engineering environment where you will play a key role in supporting production, purchasing, and sales operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of operations across production and commercial functions. Key responsibilities include: Daily use of the company ERP system to support production scheduling, material availability and order status Purchasing materials and components Creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) Preparing costings for both production and sales quotations Producing and maintaining documentation including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Material Certificate Packs Preparing production packs including drawings and works orders Liaising with Directors, management, quality control, shop floor personnel, customers and suppliers About You Ideally previous experience assisting operations within a metal fabrication environment (other engineering backgrounds considered) Experience using ERP systems Strong understanding of fabrication drawings (CAD/CAM experience advantageous) Good IT skills including Excel Excellent communication skills Full UK Driving Licence This is a fantastic ..... full job details .....
