Sheridan Maine is delighted to be collaborating with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants and business advisors to recruit an Audit and Accounts Senior. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected practice that prides itself on delivering tailored services and building long-term client relationships across a range of sectors.
 

Responsibilities of the Audit and Accounts Senior include:

- Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Prepare statutory accounts for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards.
- Review and supervise the work of junior team members, providing guidance and support.
- Build strong client relationships and function as a key point of contact throughout the engagement.
- Assist partners and managers with ad-hoc projects and advisory work as required. 

The successful Audit and Accounts Senior will require the following skills and experience:

- ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong experience).
- Previous experience in similar role within practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Organised, detail-focused, and confident in leading and supporting a team.
