We re working with a fantastic South West London primary school with a well-established Autism Resource Base that s about to grow in numbers, space, and ambition. They re now looking for an experienced, confident and calm Lead ASD Teacher to join them from September 2025. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership teaching role where you ll shape practice, guide your team, and help set the tone for a nurturing, high-quality provision for pupils with autism. About the role: You ll be leading a class of primary-aged pupils with autism, all with EHCPs You ll guide a small, committed team of support staff, helping everyone give their best You ll work closely with the Head of Base and SENDCo to design and deliver an adapted curriculum You ll contribute to transition planning, parent liaison, annual reviews and pupil progress tracking Most importantly, you ll be a role model someone who leads with warmth, structure and high expectations This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys teaching but is also ready to step into wider responsibility.
